Michael was first inspired to play from watching, and listening to Metallica which made him want to start taking guitar lessons immediately at the age of 8. Time passed and the instrument never quite took for him. When he entered middle school he was determined to play in the school band but wasn’t allowed to play guitar with the caveat that he could pick up the electric bass instead. Michael went for it, and never looked back. Since then he has been in various school concert as well as jazz bands, pit orchestras for shows such as Godspell and Jesus Christ Superstar. After performing and recording with a couple of local rock bands around the Richmond area, “Doc” found his home with Faultline.
Besides family, Jon’s passion is playing drums. Check out his artist page at Pearldrums.com. He has played drums for many bands/artists, and have traveled all over the country performing. Having the best family anyone could ever ask for with his wife and two beautiful girls that keep him in line on a minute-by-minute basis. Jon feels he is “truly am the luckiest guy in the world according to me!”

Born in New Mexico in 1982, Jarrod was raised around music from every possible genre imaginable, often giving credit for his propensity for music to his mother. His first band was formed at the age of 13. By the time Jarrod joined Faultline, he had already made a reputation around the East Coast for bringing an explosive, high energy stage show with a few original rock acts he had played and toured with. His style of playing has been compared to the likes of Brian May…which was the critique of good friend, Tom Zutaut (Legendary A&R Rock God).
El Jay began his career at 21 with the band 11:1. They played a lot of staple venues, recorded and released a successful album & gained sponsorships nationwide. After 5 years with the band, they went their separate ways. Not willing to lay dormant, El Jay made a huge impact on the Richmond scene fronting local cover bands and bringing his unrivaled energy to crowds night after countless night. Having known Jarrod for over 13 years as well as playing previously with Jon, when the spot opened to join Faultline he was the first to audition. The band never looked back. El Jay brings a stage presence and voice to be rivaled by the top dogs of the industry, delivering amazing warmth in melody and undeniable bursts that send chills to every point of your being.
